The work of Audrey Guimard, sculptor

Commissioned by Clara Copin d’Art in Situ for 1 immeuble 1 œuvre program.

I documented part of the work of Audrey Guimard on her sculpture named '“Lapiaz” after the natural rocky formation you can find in the Désert de Platé which stands close to the real estate program it is now installed in.

During a cold day of winter, I made this series of photographs of Audrey fighting against those stone monoliths. From countless thumps of shears and chisel, through the clouds of dust, I witnessed the chaotic birth of “Lapiaz”.
